Honduras 2011 and 2012

 

We are excited about the upcoming trip in June.  We have a full team for this trip. This trip will be a medical/construction mission trip.  God is so good and faithful.  We are so thankful that He is allowing us to be a part of what He is doing in Honduras!

 

 

 

 

 

 

We had fourteen people on the team that went this trip.  Brian and Vicki Cockerham; Sean Newton; Danny, DeAnn, Courtney and Clayton Taylor; Tyler and Reagan Franklin; Trinity Burns; Casey and Hunter Johnson; Chuck Harris and Scott Gosnell.  We moved more rocks and dug and hauled many wheel barrow loads of dirt to level the floor in one of the buildings.  We put rafters on one of the buildings in the Project. We got to hand out shoes, coats and Operation Christmas Child boxes.  Then there was also time to play with the children in the village.  They raced their Hot Wheels cars through PVC pipe.  It was a Wonderful trip!  God is so Amazing, Wonderful and Faithful!  God truly is good all the time!

 

                                                                       

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We had eleven people on the team that went this trip. Brian and Vicki Cockerham, Sean Newton, Trinity Burns, Tyler and Reagan Franklin, Danny and Courtney Taylor, Dalton Banister, Devn Cates and Jamie Coker. God used us to pick up LOTS of rocks, to level and pack the floor of the Cafeteria to get it ready for concrete, to dig footings for the education building. We got to clear off an area for the playground using a backhoe digging up tree stumps and huge boulders. We got to give out shoes and diapers that were given by some of you. We also got to give out some MP3 players with the New Testament in Spanish to some families who could not read and had never heard the Bible before. The team worked VERY hard for two weeks and they also got to play soccer and frisbee with the village children...and then there was also a water war that took place.
